(President & CEO: Shiro Ajisaka), a leading manufacturer of optics for diverse applications, announces that its 18-400mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD (Model B028) has won the Grand Gold Prize in the Interchangeable Lens / DSLR category and Technology Prize at the DIGITAL CAMERA GRAND-PRIX 2018. Gold Prize was also awarded to Tamron’s SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A032).
The 18-400mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD (Model B028) lens, the world’s first* ultra-telephoto all-in-one zoom lens for APS-C DSLR cameras to achieve a focal length range of 18-400mm and a 22.2x zoom ratio, also received the “EISA PHOTO INNOVATION 2017-2018”.
